Dr. Yongze Song is a Lecturer and Doctoral Supervisor at Curtin University, Australia, and a Fellow of Royal Geographical Society (with IBG), UK. He has expertise in developing geospatial methods and implementing Earth data for sustainable infrastructure. He developed a series of geospatial methods and 6 R packages with over 70,000 downloads globally for understanding geographical and spatial data. He published over 40 peer-reviewed journal articles in the fields, including articles in 35 Q1 journals and 2 ESI highly cited papers. He is a recipient of 12 awards at international and national levels, such as the Global Young Scientist Award, Global Top 1% Peer Review Awards in Geosceinces, and Australian National Location Data First Prize. He is an Editorial Board Member of “GIScience & Remote Sensing” (IF 6.238, Q1), and Managing Guest Editor of “International Journal of Applied Earth Observation and Geoinformation” (IF 5.933) and “Remote Sensing” (IF 4.848). He serves for over 30 peer-reviewed journals as a reviewer.
